The Athlete's Lifestyle.
Work Experience in Sport.
Organising Sports Events.
Rules, Regulations & Officiating in Sport.
Instructing Physical Activity & Exercise.
Possible outdoor pursuit day trips – Sheffield indoor climbing walls, Manvers Waterfront, Peak District – activities could include – indoor & outdoor climbing & abseiling, hill walking, caving, weaselling, kayaking, canoeing.
Possible visits to Universities (SHU &/or LMU).
Possible Sports Science trip to St. George's Park – home of England FA.
Possible Sports Leading & Sports Coaching within local primary and secondary schools.
Work placement within a relevant sporting organisation.

All units assessed through portfolio assignments, which are set & marked by your teachers.
The course is highly practical so you will be expected to perform, coach & officiate in a variety of sports as well as participate in a number of fitness sessions.

Extended Diploma is usually taken as a full-time course in its own right. The other BTEC Sports courses can be taken
with any other A Levels.
