What will I study?


You will look at five major areas of Psychology: the Biological, Cognitive, Developmental, Social and Individual Differences Approaches. Within each approach, you will study theories, studies and applications of topics that interest psychologists – such as memory, phobias etc. You will also learn about the research process and methods in Psychology.


There is no coursework.  You are assessed by examinations.

Entry Criteria

Standard Level 2 entry requirements. If you have taken GCSE Psychology already, you must have achieved a grade D.

Useful Supporting Courses

Psychology combines well with a number of different courses including Science and Maths.
